School at Home?Due to the Corona virus epidemic, school officials and our governor, Governor Cuomo had to close schools this past spring. This was done to help stop the spread of the virus. It is important that you keep learning and working on the skills that you were learning in school while you are doing school from home. All of your teachers will be checking in with you and sharing activities and assignments with you so that you can stay as smart as you are. Teachers are not doing this to be mean, they do miss their students and are trying to help you practice skills that you have learned so that you are not behind when we return to school soon. What Should I Be Doing at Home? |
Students should be logging into Clever where they can check their lansingburgh.org emails and Google Classroom assignments daily. These activities will not be difficult and might even be fun! Teachers will be having a "Google Meet" once a week where students can chat with their teachers and teachers can also teach lessons. Students will receive an invitation in their email. All of your teachers have specific times where they are available to be reached by their students. You can find the times teachers are available in your "Weekly Agenda" in Google Classroom. Students should also be reading for 20 minutes daily and practicing their math facts.
